LARRY D. MOORE is the DIRECTOR/SERVICE OFFICER of this Commission. He is a Vietnam veteran who served with the US Navy Seabees. He is a life member and Past Commander (1997-2001) of VFW Post #3494, life member of AMVETS Post #26, and a 26 year member of American Legion Post #16. He is currently, and has been for the last nine years, serving as Adjutant and Post Veterans Service Officer for both VFW Post #3494 and American Legion Post #16. He is also a member of Voiture 40 et 8, member of the U S Navy Seabee Association, member and Past President of the Ohio State Association of Veterans Service Commissioners, and member of the Ohio State Association of County Veterans Service Officers. Larry is the Legislative Chairman for the State of Ohio VFW and member of the VFW National Legislative Committee – both positions he has held for the past five years. He is a member of the Richland County Homeless Coalition, and a three year Board Member of the Area Agency on Aging, District 5. He is a lifelong resident of Richland County. Larry is accredited to act as a County Veteran Service Officer with the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, V.F.W., AMVETS, and American Legion.

ANTHONY R. DELONG is a SERVICE OFFICER of this Commission. He retired from the US Army in September 2002, after serving for 20 years. During this time he was deployed to Desert Storm, Bosnia, and Kosovo. Tony is a life member of the VFW, life member of DAV Chapter 21, member of AMVETS, KWVA, 40 et 8, and the American Legion. He is a National Volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a member of the Association of the United States Army and the Association of the 1st Infantry Division. He has been a Service Officer since February 2006. Tony is accredited to act as a County Veteran Service Officer with the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, V.F.W., and American Legion.

J. DARYL BOGGS, JR. is a SERVICE OFFICER of this Commission He served in the US Army Reserve from 1990 to 2006, and the US Army from January 2003 to December 2003. Daryl was deployed to Iraq, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He is a member of AMVETS Post 26, VFW Post #3494, life member of the Military Order of Purple Heart, and life member of the Iraq, Afghanistan Veterans Association. Daryl has been a Service Officer since April 2008. Daryl grew up in North Carolina, and has been resident of Richland County for a total of 30 years. Daryl is accredited to act as a County Veteran Service Officer with the Ohio Department of Veterans Services and American Legion.


ADAM R. BOYCE is a SERVICE OFFICER of this Commission. Adam served 6 years in the US Army, 4 years with the 706th Transportation Company and 2 years with the 1486th Transportation Company. He was deployed to Iraq as a 5 K POL hauler and served as Viper QRF Team Member for five months. He is a member of the Military Order of Purple Heart and VFW Post #3494. He has been a Service Officer since August 2009, and is a lifelong resident of Richland County.
