
J. Ken Estep is the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of this Commission. Ken served in the US Army from May 1968 through December 1969, including a tour in Vietnam. He is an active life member of American Legion #16 – is Past Post Commander, currently serves as Judge Advocate, and serves on the American Legion District 5 Executive Board. Ken is Present and Past District 5 American Legion Commander, and in 1994, the National American Legion awarded him Legionnaire of the month. He is a life member of AMVETS Post 26, life member of VFW Post 9943, member of Voiture 20 40 et 8, trustee at Trinity United Methodist Church, and member of Richland County AFL-CIO. Ken worked at Ideal Electric, retiring as an inspector after 39 years, worked 10 years as Labor Liaison Officer at Richland County United Way, and has lived in Richland County for over 60 years. ken@richlandcountyvets.org

Penni M. Jordan is a Service Officer of this Commission. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy, Penni retired as a Navy Hospital Corpsman on September 30, 2003. While serving in the Navy, she was stationed in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, and served 8 of her last 11 years as a U.S. Marine Corpsman. Before joining the military Penni graduated from Plymouth High School, growing up in Richland County. Shortly after her Navy retirement, Penni graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management. After being away for almost 30 years, she returned to Richland County in 2012. Duke Kornsuwan is a Service Officer of this Commission. He has been a Service Officer since August 2019. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, right out of High School in 1987, and served for 4 years on active duty. His duty stations were Fort Dix, New Jersey, Fort Bliss, Texas, and Bamberg, Germany. After leaving the military, he utilized the Army G.I. Bill, and attended the Police Academy in the State of Florida, and served for 26 years as a Police Officer in the South Florida area, before retiring. The agencies were: 1993-1994 Seminole Police Department, 1994-2014 Lauderhill Police Department, and 2014-2019 Palm Beach County School District Police Department. He then retired from Law Enforcement, moving to Mansfield Ohio in April 2019, where his son is attending The Ohio State University and is on the Football Team. duke@richlandcountyvets.org
Anita Corwin is a Service Officer of this Commission. Anita is a native of Mansfield, where she graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1991. She enlisted in the Navy in 1992, and served more than 17 years active duty as an Aviation Maintenance Administrationman. She has been stationed in Sigonella, Sicily, Norfolk, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, and Whidbey Island, WA. She was deployed throughout the US, Europe, and the Middle East, with an extensive resume in various types of aircraft and aircraft components. After serving in the Navy, she continued supporting the military by working as a government contractor hand-in-hand with military personnel from 2010 to 2015. At this same time, she attended Saint Leo University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management. In 2015, she relocated to Wilmington, OH, where she worked as Aircraft Logs and Records Supervisor for Air Transport International (ATI), and decided to further her education by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Project Management from Saint Leo University. In 2019, she relocated back to Mansfield with her daughter, when she took the position as a county Veteran Service Officer – which allows her to serve veterans in the community where she grew up. anita@richlandcountyvets.org

Sue Dell is the Administrative Assistant for the Commission and Secretary to the Executive Director. Sue has been a full time employee since February 1975. She is originally from Marion, Ohio, and has an Associates Degree from North Central Technical College. She is married with one son, four grandchildren, and is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3494.

Tauri M. Dell is our Receptionist of this Commission. Tauri is a lifetime Richland County resident and a Madison graduate. She is married and has three children and two cats.
Richard Baker is one of our Drivers for this Commission. Dick served in the U.S. Navy and has been a driver since 2015.
Donald “Mac” McCorkle is one of our Drivers for this Commission. Mac served in the U.S. Navy and has been a driver since 2015.
